Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is an indigenous non-Ââ€Âprofit affiliate organization of Family Health International (FHI 360), registered in Nigeria in 2009. It aims to provide technical assistance to the government and people of Nigeria in the implementation of public health and development programs. Building on the successful work of its parent organization, its role with SCHARP+ and Global Fund, AHNi is armed with a team of indigenous experts and professionals of international repute to help fulfill its vision and mission of enabling socio-Ââ€Âeconomic development in Nigeria, as well as improving lives in Nigeria through the mutually dependent strengths of programs in public health and research.
- The ASSISTANT TECHNICAL OFFICER – M&E: will support the project’s M&E systems towards ensuring quality data and information management and reporting of the project and other deliverables. S/he will work with program and technical staff to support the correct implementation and use of monitoring and evaluation tools, and adherence to complete, correct and timely reporting, ensuring that the quality of program/project activities adheres to SOPs by supporting the development and implementation of appropriate mechanisms to ensure quality. S/He will work with others and local implementing partners to ensure the monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project’s M&E needs.
Minimum Recruitment Standard:
- MB.BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 1 to 3 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with the provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource-constrained settings.
- Or MPH or MS/MA in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with the provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource-constrained settings.
- Or BS/BA in statistics, pharmacy, microbiology, monitoring and evaluation or in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with the provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource-constrained settings.
- Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
