What you’ll do
The Associate Manager, Impact Measurement, will lead the evaluation and measurement of impact across various programs and initiatives within the organization. This role will involve designing, implementing, and overseeing the Impact and Evaluation (M&E) framework to ensure that project outcomes align with organizational goals and demonstrate effectiveness. The Senior Coordinator ensures that impact measurement contributes to the broader strategic goals of the organization, ultimately demonstrating the value of its work to donors, stakeholders, and communities.
- Design and lead evaluation strategies: Develop comprehensive evaluation plans that align with the organization's goals and project objectives. This includes defining the scope, methodology, tools, and timelines for evaluations.
- Set evaluation priorities: Work closely with senior management to prioritize evaluations, ensuring that high-impact programs and interventions are assessed effectively.
- Develop evaluation frameworks: Design theories of change, logical frameworks, and results-based frameworks that outline the causal pathways of programs, defining how activities lead to outcomes and impacts.
- Select appropriate methodologies: Choose relevant quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodologies (e.g., surveys, focus groups, randomized controlled trials) that suit the nature of the program being evaluated.
- Ensure methodological rigor: Guarantee that evaluation designs meet scientific standards, ensuring reliability, validity, and ethical integrity in data collection and analysis.
- Manage evaluation teams: Lead internal or external evaluation teams, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and produce high-quality outputs.
- Oversee implementation: Supervise the implementation of evaluation activities, such as fieldwork, data collection, and analysis, ensuring all steps are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure objectivity: Maintain objectivity when analyzing data, providing an honest assessment of program performance, even if the findings are critical.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with program teams, partners, and stakeholders to align impact measurement efforts and maintain open communication. Ensure that all stakeholders are well informed about the progress and success of projects.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Program Evaluation, Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation, or a similar role.
- Experience working in international development or social impact organizations is an advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Power BI, R, Tableau).
- Experience designing and implementing M&E frameworks, developing tools for data collection, and writing evaluation reports.
- Strong understanding of both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Experience in leading M&E projects from concept to completion.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
- Certifications: Certification in M&E or project management (such as PMP, MEAL DPro, or other relevant qualifications) is an added advantage.
