Job Summary:
- The Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to support the development and execution of effective sales strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills who can provide insights to optimize sales performance, forecast market trends, and identify opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve sales performance.
- Generate reports on key sales metrics, including revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and emerging market opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to forecast future sales performance and market demand.
- Assist in developing data-driven strategies to maximize sales efficiency and growth.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to help identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Support the sales team with analysis to refine sales targets and align efforts with business goals.
- Support the sales team in achieving their targets through data-backed strategies and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Sales Analyst (CSA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Data Analyst (CDA), would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3years in sales analysis, business intelligence and data analysis, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales forecasting techniques.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian market and automotive industry is an advantage
