- Our client is looking to hire a Business Developer (Gaming, Crypto & Web3) to spearhead their gaming and crypto pillar in Nigeria.
- This role involves building relationships with Nigerian influencers and businesses to explore and secure new sponsorship opportunities.
- Understanding sponsors' demands and potential needs, and communicating them to an international team is also a crucial responsibility.
- Additionally, creating and managing a list of business contacts and maintaining regular online/offline interactions to sustain and manage these relationships is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with relevant Nigerian influencers to enhance brandrecognition.
- Seek and secure sponsorships from companies within the gaming, crypto, andrelated industries.
- Prepare and present engaging and effective business development materials, suchas fact sheets, reports, and presentation documents.
- Conduct thorough market research on competitors, potential customers, and themarket environment to propose sponsorship acquisition strategies.
- Collect sponsors' demands and potential needs, and share them with team membersin a clear text format.
- Provide feedback and business intelligence to the Marketing and Product Leadershipteams to improve effectiveness.
- Create and manage a list of business contacts, maintaining relationships throughregular online/offline interactions.
- Analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans based on these insights.
- Effectively record sales interactions and set up outreach lists in HubSpot.
- Exceed acquisition targets and KPIs
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, marketing, client-facing roles, or related fields.
- Deep understanding and passion for the gaming and Crypto industries is required
- Willingness and ability to travel for business development within Nigeria.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to share information clearly and effectively in both text and verbal form, within and outside the team.
