Job Purpose:

  • The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving the sales and business growth of the company’s IT security solutions above. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, developing sales strategies, and working closely with technical teams to deliver cutting-edge IT security solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential business opportunities within the IT security sector.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and industry developments to position the company’s solutions effectively.
  • Identify and qualify new leads and sales opportunities.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth in IT security services.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their IT security requirements and present relevant solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with technical and project management teams to deliver customized solutions to clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction with delivered IT security solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve any service issues or escalations.

Product Knowledge & Training:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT security products, services, and industry trends.
  • Provide input into product development and service offerings based on client feedback and market demand.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training for clients to showcase the company’s IT security solutions.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with marketing, technical, and product teams to develop promotional materials and go-to-market strategies.
  • Report on sales activities, opportunities, pipeline development, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote the company’s IT security expertise.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Revenue growth from IT security solutions
  • Sales pipeline size and conversion rate
  • Client retention and satisfaction levels
  • Market share expansion

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within cybersecurity or IT solutions.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and solutions, such as firewalls, network security, threat detection, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating large contracts.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.

Preferred:

  • Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or experience working with cybersecurity vendors or solutions.
