Job Purpose:

  • The Business Development Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team focused on driving sales and business growth in cybersecurity solutions. This role involves developing strategic sales initiatives, managing team performance, fostering client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development executives specializing in cybersecurity solutions.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations, providing ongoing coaching and support to team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and create individual development plans to enhance team skills and capabilities.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth in cybersecurity services and solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to refine sales strategies.
  • Oversee the identification and qualification of new leads and sales opportunities.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Manage high-value accounts, leading contract negotiations and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design effective go-to-market strategies and promotional materials.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address service issues and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to enhance cybersecurity offerings and services.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical, and product development, to align on objectives and strategies.
  • Report on team performance, sales activities, pipeline development, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote cybersecurity expertise.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Team sales performance and achievement of targets
  • Number of new clients acquired and retention rates
  • Revenue growth from cybersecurity solutions
  • Client satisfaction and feedback ratings
  • Market share expansion within the cybersecurity sector

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, particularly in cybersecurity solutions.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role, managing and developing sales teams.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
