Job Summary

  • The Cloud Business Strategist (AWS Business Professional) will drive the adoption of AWS cloud solutions across various industries.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies and business acumen to develop strategies that align with customer needs and organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to promote AWS cloud solutions.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through market research and networking.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create tailored cloud strategies for customers.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations to educate clients on AWS capabilities.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to inform business strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support the sales team with proposals, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cloud adoption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B software sales.
  • AWS Certified Business Professional (preferred) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Proven experience in a business development role, preferably in cloud computing.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and AWS services.

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and strategic planning.
  • Experience in creating and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally with a record of meeting or exceeding targets and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and negotiating effectively.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions, address challenges proactively, and find solutions to improve sales processes.
