Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Securiy Architect to join our dynamic Information Security team.
- The Cloud Security Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures that protect the organization's IT infrastructure, data, and digital assets.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, experience with security frameworks, and a proactive approach to evolving security threats.
- This role requires a strong technical depth in software development and cybersecurity disciplines.
What you'll get to do
- Develop and implement security architecture strategies and solutions to safeguard the organization's IT systems.
- Design security measures for data protection, network security, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
- Create and maintain detailed security architecture documentation, including network diagrams and security policies.
- Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure alignment with the overall
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance the security posture.
- Lead the implementation of security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and identity management systems.
- Ensure security solutions are integrated effectively with existing IT infrastructure.
- Work closely with IT and business units to align security initiatives with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.
- Lead security incident response efforts and post-incident analysis.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the security architecture and practices
- Participate in security-related training and development activities.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a security architecture role.
- Proven experience with security architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and DLP.
- Familiarity with cloud security, particularly in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
