Job Description

  • All On is seeking a motivated and creative Communications Intern to join our dynamic team.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, public relations, and digital marketing within the energy sector.
  • The successful candidate will assist in crafting and delivering compelling narratives that resonate with our diverse audience, supporting our mission to increase energy access across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:

  • Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media content.
  • Develop engaging content for various communication platforms, including the company’s website and social media channels.
  • Support in the production of multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and podcasts.

Social Media Management:

  • Help manage and grow All On’s social media presence by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Research and implement innovative strategies to increase social media engagement and reach.

Public Relations Support:

  • Assist in maintaining relationships with media outlets, drafting pitches, and coordinating media requests.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings for internal reports.

Event Support:

  • Support the planning and execution of company events, webinars, and community outreach programs.
  • Assist with the creation of event materials, such as invitations, programs, and promotional content.

Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform communication strategies.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining media contact databases, coordinating meetings, and organizing communication archives.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications to keep staff informed about ongoing initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a egree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field or currently a NYSC member deployed to Lagos state.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in the use of social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen interest in the energy sector.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
