About the Role
- Mopheth Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance / Data Officer to join our Procurement Department.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing compliance with internal policies, verifying procurement documentation, and conducting data analysis to support purchasing decisions.
- This role requires a strong eye for detail, a high level of integrity, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular compliance checks across procurement activities.
- Ensure all supplier invoices follow SOPs (timestamp, supplier name, verification with a green pen).
- Perform data analysis on procurement trends, costs, and inventory levels.
- Generate weekly reports highlighting fast-moving items and sales trends.
- Prevent overstocking/understocking through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts, and Internal Audit teams.
- Conduct training sessions on compliance protocols.
Requirements
- BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or any related discipline
- Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in compliance, data analysis, or procurement in the retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and SOPs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Must be working in the retail sector
