What we need

  • We are seeking to hire a consumer insights and project research specialist who will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • This role supports strategic decision-making and marketing efforts by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on research findings.

What you will do

  • Plan and execute research projects to gather data on consumer preferences, attitudes, and behaviour.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support strategic decision-making.
  • Plan and Execute surveys, focus groups, and interviews to collect quantitative and qualitative data from consumers.
  • Manage data collection tools and platforms for research projects.
  • Apply advanced data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis and predictive modelling, to derive actionable insights.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the market.
  • Present findings in clear, visually engaging formats and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Utilize statistical and data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights from raw data.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations, technological advancements, and economic trends impacting the payments fintech sector.
  • Provide forecasts and predictive analytics based on data analysis and market research to inform business strategies.
  • Monitor competitors activities and market positioning to assess strengths and weaknesses.
  • Identify market gaps and recommend strategies to gain a competitive edge.
  • Segment the target audience based on demographics, psychographics, and buying behaviour.
  • Develop personas and profiles to better understand consumer needs and preferences.
  • Create clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate research findings to key stakeholders.
  • Make recommendations based on insights to guide marketing, product development, and business strategy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights into their activities.
  • Collaborate with external research firms or agencies when needed.
  • Ensure that all research activities comply with ethical standards, privacy regulations, and data protection laws.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3 years of proven experience in consumer insights, market research, or data analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Python).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
