The dream to establish a Senior Secondary School, Olumawu College began to be realised early in 2009, to begin as a Co-Educational Day School on the current site before moving to a new purpose-built site with boarding facilities in the next three years. Olumawu College opened its doors for the first time on September 14th 2009 and welcomed students progressing from JSS3 in the Junior Secondary Section as well as students new to the school. Mission To offer high quality, comprehensive education for young people in an inspiring and motivating environment where students can be freely exposed to education for total and all round development. About the job

  • We are looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through visuals, knows how to bring moments to life through pictures and videos, and is confident using content tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of daily activities, events, and special moments.
  • Create and edit engaging short-form content (e.g. Reels, Stories) for social media, especially Instagram.
  • Upload and organize all content to the shared drive in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Work closely with the social media team to align content with brand guidelines.
  • Be available to work on scheduled event days, including Saturdays when required (this will replace a regular weekday).
  • Maintain a flexible but structured schedule, averaging 13 hours per week, 5–6 hours per working day.
  • Report by 9:00 a.m., unless an earlier time is requested due to a scheduled event (e.g. 7:30 a.m.); in such cases, early arrival equals early closing.

Requirements:

  • Must own an iPhone with a good camera (iPhone 11 or higher preferred).
  • Proficient in capturing content with good angles, lighting, and storytelling through visuals.
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g. using CapCut, VN, or InShot).
  • Familiarity with social media formats, trends, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to upload and manage files on Google Drive or shared cloud storage.
  • Must be punctual, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
