ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Copywriting & Content Development Specialist at Paga, your role will be multifaceted and critically important. You will be tasked with the responsibility of crafting compelling, engaging, and high-quality written content that effectively showcases Paga's brand, services, and core values to our diverse audience. This role requires not only a high level of creativity, ensuring our content is fresh, innovative, and stands out in the marketplace, but also meticulous attention to detail to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and consistency across all our communications. Your words will shape the public's perception of our brand, making this role integral to our wider marketing and communications strategy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative, innovative, and engaging content for various platforms such as websites, blogs, social media, e-newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate effectively with the marketing, design, and product teams to align the written content with visual elements and overall campaign objectives.
- Write both short-form content such as social media posts, ads, and headlines, as well as long-form content like articles, blogs, and white papers.
- Conduct thorough, in-depth research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences to create content that resonates with our target audience.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Paga’s goals and brand.
- Proofread and edit all content to ensure it is free of errors, aligns with our brand voice, and meets our quality standards.
- Monitor the performance and effectiveness of content across different platforms, using data to make informed decisions about future content strategies.
- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters, apps release notes)
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, incorporating best practices to improve visibility and increase web traffic.
- Regularly update and manage Paga's social media profiles and presence.
- Leverage market data to develop content themes, topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate customers.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a copywriter, content developer, or related role, preferably in our industry.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a demonstrated ability to create persuasive and engaging content.
- Strong research and fact-checking skills, with the ability to transform complex information into user-friendly content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Practical experience of SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics, and digital marketing trends.
- Proficient in content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
