UK Neo-Banking Financial institution, providing Banking as a Service (BaaS)
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY HAVE TO:
- Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions to protect against advanced threats while supporting business needs.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats using security tools and software.
- Ensure the security of financial transactions and customer data.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities specific to the banking sector.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of Four (4) years proven work experience in network and cybersecurity roles preferably within banking or financial services industry, Fintech, and digital banking environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, CompTIA Security+).
- Proven experience in network and cybersecurity roles, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cybersecurity.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Knowledge of ethical hacking and penetration testing techniques.
- Experience in incident response and digital forensics.
