Job Description

  • The Cyber Security Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with clients, understanding their cyber security needs, and ensuring the delivery of effective security solutions.
  • This role involves working closely with internal teams to deliver on client requirements, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their cyber security needs are met.
  • Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services with current clients. Work to meet and exceed sales targets and grow the client base.
  • Solution Delivery: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the delivery of tailored cyber security solutions. Oversee the implementation of security products and services to meet client requirements.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand clients’ business challenges and provide consultative advice on how to enhance their cyber security posture. Present and demonstrate security solutions to clients.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and new security technologies. Provide insights to clients on how these trends may impact their security strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status, activities, and results to management. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by clients in a timely manner. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the cyber security industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cyber security concepts, technologies, and trends. Ability to discuss technical details with clients and internal teams.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and convey technical information in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
