Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic IT security team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events, conducting threat assessments, and implementing security measures to protect the organization's data and systems.
  • This role requires a proactive individual with a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, unauthorized access, and phishing attempts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of security breaches and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and collaborate with relevant teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Track and report on the status of vulnerability remediation efforts.
  • Maintain and optimize security tools, including antivirus software, endpoint protection, and network security devices.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of security technologies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in security audits and assessments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
  • Analyze threat intelligence data to identify potential risks to the organization and provide recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Promote best practices for data protection and cybersecurity within the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and endpoint security
  • CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA CySA+.
  • Excellent understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCIDSS).
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
