The Cybersecurity Analyst at Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization’s information assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data. This position involves monitoring security systems, analyzing threats, and responding to incidents to protect against cyber threats effectively.
As part of the IT Security team, the Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform web application, API and mobile app security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Conduct network security VA/PT assessments using manual and automated tools.
- Analyze and mitigate security threats across applications and infrastructure
- Conduct cybersecurity risk analysis and incident response handling.
- Perform forensic log reviews and stakeholder coordination.
- Identify, exploit, and document security flaws and vulnerabilities in web and API environments.
- Analyze and mitigate risks in third-party integrations and Shopify apps.
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on experience in application security and network infrastructure VAPT.
- Strong knowledge of web application, API security, and mobile app security testing.
- Experience with automated tools like Nessus Pro and Nipper.
- Experience in cybersecurity analysis and risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity analysis and risk assessment.
- Experience in penetration testing or cybersecurity engineering.
- Hands-on knowledge of tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP and Kali Linux.
Skills Required
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in security tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap and Metasploit.
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and OWASP Top 10.
- Scripting knowledge in languages like Python.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
