Job Summary
To enhance the organization's cybersecurity and cloud security posture by implementing, managing, and continuously improving robust security measures across all digital platforms and cloud environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement cloud security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans in cloud environments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts related to cloud and network security, ensuring timely containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Manage the configuration and monitoring of cloud security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security controls in CI/CD pipelines, enhancing the security of cloud-based applications.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and threat prevention.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Demonstrated experience in securing cloud-based infrastructures and applications.
COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
Technical:
- Proficiency in cloud security tools and technologies (e.g., AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience with SIEM solutions, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automating security tasks.
Behavioural:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
