SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF JOB:
- As a Cybersecurity Expert, will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security strategies.
- This role requires deep expertise in cyber risk management, security architecture, incident response, and compliance, with a strong ability to advise and implement security solutions for various industries.
- The ideal candidate will be a trusted cybersecurity advisor to clients, helping them safeguard their digital assets while aligning security strategies with their business goals.
Responsibilities:
Security Management:
- Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity frameworks.
- Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide security advisory services to clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure, applications, and data comply with industry security standards (ISO 27001, etc.).
- Develop and oversee incident response plans for clients.
- Monitor client networks and systems for threat detection and response.
Security Operations & Threat Intelligence:
- Continuously analyze emerging cyber threats and recommend proactive security measures.
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and other security tools to enhance security.
- Work with internal teams to improve security service offerings and develop innovative cyber defense strategies.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Assist in security certification processes and provide documentation for audits.
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training.
Collaboration & Advisory Services:
- Serve as a trusted security advisor to clients, presenting reports and security roadmaps to stakeholders.
- Work closely with software development and IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Conduct technical and executive-level cybersecurity presentations for clients.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity consulting, managed security services, or security operations.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001, OSCP.
- Strong expertise in penetration testing, threat intelligence, incident response, and security architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud security solutions.
- Proficiency in security automation.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and SOC operations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, senior executives, and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and work under tight deadlines.
