Job Summary:
- As a Data Analysis Tutor, you will tutor beginners through hands-on training in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation. Your expertise will help students develop practical skills, preparing them for careers in data-driven industries.
Responsibilities:
- Teach core principles of data analysis, including statistics, data manipulation, and data visualization
- Explain data analysis concepts, tools, and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
- Develop and lead interactive classes, workshops, or one-on-one sessions
- Create and update curriculum materials, ensuring industry relevance
- Provide feedback and support to students on projects and assignments
- Monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with instructors to integrate data analysis into broader curriculum
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in teaching data analysis
- Certification in Data analysis or visualization
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python
- Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable material
- Patient and supportive approach to student learning
- Residency in Ibadan (mandatory)
