The PalmPay app will come pre-installed on over 20 million devices in 2020.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to support our data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming raw into actionable insights. As a Data Analyst as Palmpay Limited, you will paly a key role in optimizing operations, enhancing customers experience, and driving strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and processing:

  • Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Cleanse and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis.

Data Analysis:

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
  • Develop and implement statistical models to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
  • Analyze financial data to support business-making.

Reporting and Visualizing:

  • Create and maintain dashboard and report to communicate key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present finding and recommendations.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain data quality standard and procedures
  • Monitor and address data discrepancies or anomalies

Business Intelligence:

  • Provide actionable insight support planning and decision-making
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best in data analytics

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other department to understand their data needs and provided relevant insights
  • Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data infrastructure meet analytical requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years proven experience as Data Analyst in a Fintech or Financial Services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in data tool such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with financial data and metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environment
