We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, process, and analyze data to help drive informed business decisions. The Data Analyst will work closely with various departments to interpret data, identify trends, and create visualizations and reports that provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management
- Gather and compile data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Maintain and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of datasets.
- Data Cleaning & Preparation
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and anomalies.
- Prepare datasets for analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
Data Analysis
- Analyze trends, patterns, and correlations in complex data sets.
- Perform statistical analysis to support business decisions.
Reporting & Visualization
- Create clear, compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Present data insights to stakeholders in a meaningful and easy-to-understand manner.
Business Insight Generation
- Translate data into business insights to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Tool & Model Development
- Develop data models, forecasting tools, and performance metrics.
- Assist in building predictive models and machine learning pipelines (optional/advanced).
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with business teams, IT, and data engineers.
- Communicate complex results and findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R (optional but beneficial)
- Understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Qualifications:
- National Diploma in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a data analysis or similar role (entry-level positions available for recent graduates)
- Familiarity with databases, data warehousing, and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google BigQuery) is a plus
