Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and update the policy renewal schedule.
  • Maintain, manage, and update the claims database for various geographical locations in Nigeria.
  • Keep accurate records of premiums and collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely premium settlements.
  • Conduct periodic claim reviews to support training plans.
  • Compute and analyze fixed assets data.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports.
  • Calculate premiums for all insurances.
  • Manage soft copies of endorsements, certificates, and policies.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all files.
  • Distribute credit notes to various units.
  • Generate and circulate monthly claims update reports to each unit.
  • Generate reports for insurance analysis for local management, various companies, and management teams.
  • Monitor and report on the status of each claim to ensure prompt settlement.
  • Track premium payments and disbursements from various units on POT (Payment Order Tracking).
  • Coordinate with the accounts department and Mumbai office on all payment transactions.
  • Track and record payments to loss adjusters and investigators in collaboration with the accounts department.
  • Provide cost analysis reports on POT.
  • Report on salvage bids.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics).
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management software.
