JOB SUMMARY:
- We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and drive data-driven insights and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to extract valuable insights and patterns.
- Design and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and develop data-driven strategies.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science techniques, tools, and technologies.
- Develop and maintain data science pipelines, ensuring data quality, reproducibility, and scalability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science processes and methodologies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science roles, with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and expertise in data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
