JOB SUMMARY:

  • We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and drive data-driven insights and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to extract valuable insights and patterns.
  • Design and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions to solve business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and develop data-driven strategies.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science techniques, tools, and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain data science pipelines, ensuring data quality, reproducibility, and scalability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science processes and methodologies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science roles, with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and expertise in data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
  • Strong understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. 
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
