Job Description
- Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications.
- Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
- Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
- Write SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts, troubleshoot across apps and different database engines.
- Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces
- Develop, test and implement new software programs.
- Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
- Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
Job Qualifications & Criteria
- Candidate must be a B.Sc Graduate with either of the following disciplines:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology, Or any other related course.
- Candidate must reside in Lagos; proximity to Maryland is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
- Hands on experience of programming languages (C#, Java, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of Net Core
- Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate, Entity framework and Dapper)
- Experience with source control (GIT)
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
