We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Optical Network Technical Engineer/Fiber Network Infrastructure Specialist/DWDM Network Specialist to join our team in Nigeria.

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in DWDM and hold a completed degree, coupled with 5 to 8 years of pertinent experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review of solutions for crucial projects within the optical network domain, identifying risks and addressing ITR issues.
  • Provide frontline support for optical network project delivery, coordinating with relevant organizations and departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Serve as the Project Technical Director/Team Lead, actively engaging in on-site and remote assurance of global key projects.
  • Support communication of customer requirements, contribute to solution design, oversee delivery implementation, and resolve technical issues.
  • Timely summarize and extract common issues, driving ongoing improvement within the product industry.
  • Contribute to the delivery assurance process and standard design of optical network projects. Continuously enhance the optical network delivery assurance system through the integration of digital technologies, aiming to elevate the digital delivery assurance capability

Required Experience:

  • Possess fundamental proficiency in optical network communication principles, networking architecture, and network planning.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze and address optical network issues, along with expertise in crafting optical network service solution architectures.
  • Exhibit a broad understanding of product models, including but not limited to OSN 9800, OSN 1800, OSN 7500, and NCE-T.
  • Proficiently operate and configure these products.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at analyzing and guiding customer requirements, skilled in risk and problem management, and a heightened awareness of teamwork dynamics.
