Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of household enumerators in the field.
- Ensure enumerators follow the approved data collection methodology and survey instruments.
- Conduct spot checks and back-checks to verify the accuracy of collected data.
- Provide on-the-spot guidance and troubleshooting support to enumerators.
- Monitor enumerator attendance, productivity, and reporting.
- Liaise with community members and stakeholders to ensure smooth enumeration processes.
- Report daily progress, challenges, and data quality issues to the Field Coordinator.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and ethical standards during fieldwork.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in any field (preferably in Environmental Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related areas).
- Previous experience in field data collection and/or supervising enumerators is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of data quality assurance procedures.
- Ability to use smartphones/tablets and digital survey tools (e.g., ODK, KoboToolbox).
- Must be proactive, reliable, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work in the field and travel within designated communities.
