Coleman Technical Industries Limited ("Coleman") was incorporated on the 1st of July, 1975. The Company was founded on the principles of developing local industries that would in turn create jobs through the production of good quality products that meet international standards. The principal operation of Coleman is the manufacturing of electrical wires and cables for Oil Industries, Commercial and Residential. We manufacture a wide range of high quality standard and specialty cables. Our first factory was established in 1998 at 149/151, Idimu Road, Ikotun, Lagos with a capacity to process 1,200 metric tons of Copper and 800 metric tons of Aluminium per annum. In 2009, we commissioned the largest ultra-modern cable factory in West Africa, located at KM 34, Lagos - Ibadan, Expressway which now serves as our Headquarters while the first factory serves as our Lagos office. This new factory has a floor capacity of 15,000 square metres with an installed production capacity to process 15,000 metric tons of Copper and 18,000 metric tons of Aluminium per annum which is equivalent of 50% of the Country's total capacity in House Wiring, AAC, ACSR and Power cables. Coleman is a member of Cable Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (CAMAN) which comprises all top-rated cable manufacturing companies in Nigeria. We have been a full member of this association since year 2001 and have fulfilled all quality standards to keep our position in the association. As a result, we have been receiving Nigeria Industrial Standard (NIS) and Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) certifications since 2002. Our company is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified company.Coleman Technical Industries Limited is indigenously owned with a capital base of over N5 Billion in Plant, Machinery, Raw Materials and Stocks.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an ERP Data Entry Officer to support the Production Department by ensuring accurate and timely data entry into the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. 
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining production records, inventory levels, and operational reports to support seamless manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
ERP Data Entry & Management:

  • Accurately input production data, work orders, material usage, and machine runtimes into the ERP system.
  • Update and maintain real-time production records to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor and validate raw material issuance and finished goods movement within the ERP system.
  • Ensure timely and precise data synchronization between the production floor and ERP software.

Production Reporting & Documentation:

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports based on ERP data.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of production schedules, machine efficiency, and downtime analysis.
  • Verify data accuracy and correct discrepancies in production entries.
  • Assist in tracking inventory usage and wastage levels for proper stock control.

Inventory & Material Tracking:

  • Record material consumption per production batch and update stock levels in the ERP system.
  • Monitor raw materials and finished goods movements to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse and Procurement teams to ensure accurate stock reconciliation.

Process Optimization & System Support

  • Identify data entry errors and inconsistencies and report them for corrective action.
  • Work closely with IT and ERP administrators to troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Provide support in system upgrades, testing, and user training for the Production Department.
  • Recommend improvements to ERP workflows for enhanced efficiency.

Compliance & Data Integrity:

  • Ensure all ERP entries comply with company policies and industry standards.
  • Maintain data security and confidentiality when handling sensitive production information.
  • Adhere to ISO, NIS, and internal audit requirements regarding production data documentation.

Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in ERP software, Data Management, or Supply Chain Management are an advantage.
  • Applicant must be between 25 - 35 years of age. 
  • And must stay within the environs of Berger to Mowe in Ogun State

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in ERP data entry or production data management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience working with ERP software such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or Oracle ERP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing workflows is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Data Analysis tools).
  • Ability to interpret production reports, material usage records, and inventory movement logs.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, including raw material consumption and finished goods tracking.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with production, warehouse, and IT teams.
