Overview:

We are looking for a Factory Operations & Data Support Officer to assist the Factory Manager and Group Technical Head in overseeing daily factory operations, maintaining accurate production records, and performing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have basic data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel, strong data entry abilities, and the capability to manage operational and administrative duties efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Entry & Management:
    • Accurately input, update, and maintain records.
    • Ensure timely and error-free data entry for reporting and analysis.
  2. Basic Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyse production and operational data.
    • Identify trends and provide insights to improve efficiency.
  3. Administrative Support:
    • Assist in preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and handling correspondence.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings, factory visits, and management reviews.
    • Maintain an organized filing system for production logs, maintenance records, and operational reports.
  4. Coordination & Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between the factory team and other departments such as procurement, quality control, and logistics.
    • Ensure smooth communication of operational updates to the Factory Manager and Group Technical Head.
  5. General Assistance:
    • Provide hands-on support in factory operations as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Factory Manager and Group Technical Head.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions like formulas, sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and charts).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced factory environment.
  • Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.

This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in factory operations, data management, and administrative coordination while supporting key decision-makers in a dynamic industry setting.
