Role Overview:
- We are on the hunt for a skilled Frontend Engineer with a passion for Vue.js to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building engaging and high-performing web applications.
- Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known Vue.js workflows.
- You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain.
- You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure, thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using Vue.js
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and frameworks, particularly those related to Vue.js and frontend development
Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Strong knowledge of Vue.js and its core principles
- Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Frontend Engineer
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
