Job Summary
We are looking for a Fullstack Developer (PHP Laravel + React) to help build, maintain, and scale our property management platform. You will work across backend APIs and frontend interfaces, contributing directly to features used by landlords, property managers, and tenants.
This role is remote, but open to candidates based in Nigeria only.
Responsibilities
Backend (Laravel):
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Laravel
- Work with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), migrations, and Eloquent ORM
- Implement authentication, roles, and permissions
- Optimize performance, security, and scalability
Frontend (React):
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces with React
- Consume APIs and manage application state
- Collaborate with designers and product team to deliver clean UX
General:
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
- Debug, improve, and refactor existing features
Requirements
- Proven experience with Laravel (API-driven applications)
- Strong experience with React (hooks, components, routing)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Tailwind CSS or similar CSS frameworks
- TypeScript
- Experience working on SaaS products
- Knowledge of property management or fintech systems
