Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fullstack DevOps Engineer & Development Team Lead to oversee a cross-functional development team while driving the implementation of DevOps practices. You will be responsible for leading development efforts, managing the team, and ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of our applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both fullstack development and DevOps, combined with leadership experience in guiding teams through the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of front-end and back-end developers, providing technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, from project planning and technical design to deployment and support.
- Drive the adoption of Agile/Scrum methodologies within the development team, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, ensuring that applications are delivered efficiently and securely.
- Collaborate with the product management team to define project goals, prioritize tasks, and manage team workloads, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Write efficient and reusable code for both front-end (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Java) applications.
- Optimize DevOps practices by managing containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), monitoring application performance, and scaling resources as needed.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through regular code reviews, automated testing, and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure the seamless integration and deployment of new features.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, bottlenecks, and challenges that might impact team productivity or project timelines.
- Manage team performance, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous growth and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development and DevOps engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Proficient in GitOps practices and version control systems (Git).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on improving team performance and delivery speed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Certification in Agile/Scrum methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM).
