Key Responsibilities
- Design impactful visual content for both digital and print platforms, including social media graphics, infographics, newsletters, educational materials, event branding, and fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Programs, Communications, and Development to translate ideas into engaging visuals that reflect the organization’s mission and values.
- Uphold and evolve the organization’s brand identity across all visual touchpoints.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a consistent standard of excellence.
- Revise and refine designs based on stakeholder input, ensuring effectiveness and resonance with diverse audiences.
- Stay updated on design trends and tools, integrating best practices in accessibility, inclusivity, and ethical storytelling.
- Contribute to strategic discussions on brand development, campaign planning, and community engagement through design.
Key Requirements
- HND/BSc in any relevant field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience as a Graphics Designer, preferably in mission-driven or nonprofit organizations.
- High proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or Canva.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work, including campaigns for awareness, advocacy, education, and community engagement.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to create visually compelling, error-free designs.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present and explain creative concepts clearly.
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling and branding in the context of social impact and community-focused work.
- Ability to receive and apply feedback constructively, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goals.
