The Graphics Designer at Mshel Prints is responsible for creating visually compelling designs that align with the company’s branding and marketing objectives. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including print and digital media, to produce high-quality visuals that effectively communicate messages to the target audience. The Graphics Designer collaborates with other departments to ensure that all design work supports the company's goals and enhances its visual identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce creative concepts for a variety of projects, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, social media graphics, and other promotional materials.
  • Design layouts, graphics, and visual elements that align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
  • Ensure that all designs are visually appealing, consistent, and meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients or internal stakeholders to understand their design needs and objectives.
  • Present design ideas and concepts to clients or management for approval, incorporating feedback as needed.
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and production teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with printers and other vendors to ensure that final designs are accurately produced and meet technical specifications.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to support the company’s marketing strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s visual brand identity through consistent and innovative design work.
  • Create and update brand assets, including logos, typography, color schemes, and templates.
  • Ensure all design materials reflect the brand’s voice and personality.
  • Design and prepare files for both digital and print media, ensuring that all materials are optimized for their respective platforms.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, software, and technologies to create cutting-edge visuals.
  • Adjust designs as needed to meet the requirements of different print and digital formats.
  • Review and proof all design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Make necessary corrections to files based on feedback or quality checks.
  • Ensure that all final designs are error-free and ready for production or publication
  • Seek out opportunities to improve design processes and workflows.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance design skills and stay current with industry trends.
  • Gather and analyze feedback on design projects to continually improve the quality of work.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience as a Graphics Designer, preferably in a print or marketing environment.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work, including print and digital media.
    • Excellent visual, creative, and artistic abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Character: Creative, adaptable, and able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
