Nigeria Info FM is seeking a highly creative and versatile Graphics Designer/Videographer/Editor to join our Digital Desk team.
This role is central to shaping how our stories and shows come alive across radio, web, and social platforms.
You will conceptualize, design, film, and edit visual and multimedia content that strengthens our brand identity, engages our audiences, and supports editorial and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Graphics Design
Create visually compelling graphics, infographics, social media templates, and promotional assets for Nigeria Info FM’s platforms.
Adapt visual designs to match different formats (radio show promos, web articles, event coverage, branded campaigns).
Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and editorial tone.
Videography
Shoot and capture high-quality video content for interviews, talk shows, behind-the-scenes,
events, and live coverage.
Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment as needed.
Work with producers and editors to translate editorial ideas into engaging video stories.
Video & Audio Editing
Edit raw footage into polished, broadcast-ready video and social media clips.
Add captions, graphics, sound design, and visual effects where required.
Repurpose long-form radio and video content into short-form digital clips optimized for web and social media distribution.
Collaboration & Workflow
Work closely with news editors, digital producers, and show hosts to deliver multimedia content under tight deadlines.
Use AI-powered and digital tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere Pro, DaVinci
Resolve, After Effects, AI editing apps) to speed up workflows.
Support the Digital Desk in developing visual strategies for major editorial projects and special coverage.
Requirements & Skills
Bachelor’s degree
2–4 years of professional experience in design, videography, and video editing (media/agency background preferred).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, and other editing tools.
Strong understanding of social media trends, digital storytelling, and visual branding.
Ability to shoot with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, manage lighting setups, and handle field production.
Excellent time management and ability to deliver under deadline pressure.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
Nice to Have (Added Advantage)
Experience with motion graphics and animation.
Familiarity with AI-powered design and editing tools (e.g., Runway, Descript, Pictory).
Basic photography and photo editing skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced newsroom or broadcast media environment.
