Job Description

  • Supervising IMOs by reviewing the work conducted by IPOs and supporting them in planning their tasks to ensure efficient data collection.Ensuring data quality assurance for both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews and FGDs is a key aspect of the role.
  • Assisting in the preparation of periodic field reports and data collection activities.Conducting key informant and in-depth interviews, as well as facilitating focus group discussions (FGDs) with key populations according to the established protocol.
  • Timely review of FGDs transcripts and  interviews for accuracy, managing data files, and ensuring proper transcription and cleaning of interviews.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, M&E, or a related field.
  • Specialized training or equivalent experience in M&E or Impact Assessment is also considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in data collection for evaluations or research, including
  • M&E activities in development programs.
  • Fieldwork experience in both rural and urban settings.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 3—5 years of experience in impact monitoring, data collection, or research supervision.
  • Experience managing field teams, particularly in quantitative and qualitative data collection.
  • Previous experience in data quality assurance and validation techniques.
  • Experience in conducting key informant interviews (Klls), in-depth interviews (IDIs), and focus group discussions (FGDs).
  • Experience in transcription, data cleaning, and management of interview records.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to supervise and support field teams Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in digital data collection tools (e.g., ODK, SurveyCTO, CommCare) is an advantage.
  • Strong Microsoft Offce skills and experience using laptops, tablets, and GPS recording.
