Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Intern to join our dynamic Project team.
  • This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in networking and IT project management.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in various projects, contribute to the optimization of our client satisfaction, and support the project management team in ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Assistance: Support the IT project management team in planning, executing, and monitoring IT networking projects.
  • Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and resolve network-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Customer Support: Assist in attending to clients inquiries and providing solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and project progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to support cross-functional IT initiatives.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on emerging networking technologies and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of our projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with network configuration and maintenance (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Certification in networking (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) is a plus.
