Job objectives:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Java
- Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, developing high-quality, scalable, and
- innovative software applications. Your expertise will contribute to the full software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Java applications that are high-volume and low-latency, for mission-critical systems.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
- Manage Java and Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks like Swing, SWT, or AWT is advantageous.
- Deep knowledge of Java and Java EE platforms, along with experience in developing web applications using
- popular web frameworks (e.g., JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
- Expertise in relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience with test-driven development and proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
