Job Description
- Our client is recruiting for the role of a Junior Consultant. This role involves supporting the development and implementation of strategies to manage client's reputation, communication, and relationships with various stakeholders, including the public, government officials, media, and interest groups.
Job Responsibilities
- Creating proposals for new clients based on their needs and goals
- Developing client relationships by meeting with them regularly to assess their needs and progress
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships
- Creating forecasts and reports on client activity in order to present information in an understandable manner
- Conducting research to gather data about a client’s industry, competitors, or specific topics related to their business goals
- Communicating with clients regularly to provide updates or answer questions about their projects
- Support senior consultants in all aspects of project work, including proposal development, team management, and client interactions
- Providing strategic advice to clients about how to improve their businesses
- Coordinating with other consultants to execute projects on time and within budget
- Preparing presentations and training materials to educate clients on topics such as marketing strategies, social media best practices, or business leadership skills
- Ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed, including creating new ones as needed
- Help develop new business opportunities by identifying potential leads and conducting preliminary outreach
- Participate in internal initiatives to improve firm-wide processes and capabilities
- Attend networking events and conferences on behalf of the company
- Stay up-to-date on relevant industry trends and news
- Contribute to the development of junior staff members
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Public Relations, Mass Communication or related field
- 3-7 years of professional work experience, preferably in consulting or a similar role
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and other useful and relevant software applications.
- Ability to conduct research, interpret findings and write proposals
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage projects with and without supervision
- Business and Political acumen is an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
