Our client in the Pharmaceutical/Cosmetics industry is looking to hire a skilled Graphic Designer who is passionate about creating compelling visual content that resonates with their audience and aligns with their brand identity. In this role, the ideal candidate will collaborate with the marketing, communications, and design teams to develop visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and multimedia assets for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Working on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals 
  • Obtaining input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately 
  • Working independently as well as cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects 
  • Translating strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity 
  • Developing concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout 
  • Managing the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system
  • Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary 
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed 
  • Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Photoshop 
  • Keeping up to date with design and software trends  
  • Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief 
  • Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size  
  • Developing concepts, graphics, and layouts, including making decisions about fonts, images, readability, and readers’ needs  
  • Studying design briefs and determine requirements 
  • Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements 
  • Developing illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand 
  • Using the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic 
  • Working with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design 
  • Testing graphics across various media 
  • Ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand 

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency, design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver 
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics 
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines 
  • A strong eye for visual composition. 
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design. 

Must have skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
