Role Summary:

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the quality assurance processes, ensuring that Drugstoc’s software applications and systems are reliable, efficient, and meet user requirements. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Testing and Validation
    • Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and performance issues.
    • Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure quality standards are met.
  2. Test Plan Development
    • Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create test cases and scenarios.
    • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and scripts based on project requirements.
  3. Defect Management
    • Identify, document, and track software defects in a structured manner using bug-tracking tools.
    • Work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  4. Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to ensure alignment on project goals and quality benchmarks.
    • Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
  5. Continuous Improvement
    • Assist in improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the overall testing framework.
    • Stay updated on emerging QA practices and tools to ensure industry relevance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
