Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst/Engineer in Lagos.
- The role involves day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring the quality of software products and identifying areas for improvement in the development process.
- The ideal candidate will possess good (but not necessarily strong) skills in Functional, Usability, Performance, and Security testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools like Cypress and Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, understanding project requirements to deliver robust testing solutions.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, document defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve problems.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Playwright, Scandium, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in software quality assurance and testing
