Role Description
- Drugstore.ng is seeking a Laravel Developer for a remote contract position.
- The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performing web applications using Laravel framework, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end components of enterprise-level applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Implement Microservices architecture to build scalable and resilient solutions
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Collaborate with the front-end development team to create seamless user experiences
- Work closely with the QA team to identify and address issues and bugs
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Integrate with 3rd-party services and APIs to expand application functionality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in web development
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes and workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PHP/Laravel development
- Strong knowledge of Microservices development
- Proven experience working on enterprise-level applications
- Proficiency in unit testing and implementing code quality
- In-depth understanding of back-end development and architecture
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Experience with RESTful API development
- Strong understanding of database design and SQL
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS
- Familiarity with Bagisto Framework
- Experience in integrating with 3rd-party services and APIs
