Role Description
We are currently seeking a Member, Cybersecurity Blue Team to join our team based in Lagos. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the cybersecurity blue team to monitor, detect and respond to potential security threats. You will play a critical role in maintaining the security of our company's IT systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time, hybrid position, with the role based in Lagos but allowing for some flexibility to work remotely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years' experience in a cybersecurity or information security role
- Experience in security monitoring and threat detection tools, such as security information and event management (SIEM), XDR etc.
- Experience in security incident response and forensics
- Fair understanding of security standards and best practices, such as ISO 27001 and NIST
- Knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, firewall, and VPN technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex security issues to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Certifications in relevant areas such as SSCP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), OSCP, CISM or equivalent
