LearnlyApp is an educational technology (EdTech) app designed to help users test their knowledge, learn and improve their knowledge of technology. We allow learners to explore different fields through quizzes and courses available on the app, aiming to have an interactive platform that allows continuous user engagement as well as encourages active learning.
LearnlyApp is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Golang, with experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable backend solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Golang.
- Design and manage database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
- Debug and resolve backend-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4–6 years of backend development experience.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Node.js and familiarity with Golang.
- Databases: Solid experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Version Control: Proficient in Git and collaborative workflows.
- Other Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for backend systems.
