- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Cloud Architect to join our dynamic Infrastructure and Cloud team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, architecture design, and implementation.
- As a Mid-Level Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture Design:
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements for cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, documentation, and best practices.
Cloud Platform Expertise:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and solutions based on project requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the cloud space.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate IaC into the overall development lifecycle.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based solutions by implementing best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits, addressing vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and services.
- Implement scaling strategies to accommodate growing workloads efficiently.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, system administrators, and business units, to understand their requirements and provide effective cloud solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
- Collaborate with support teams to resolve incidents and implement preventive measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
- Certification in one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and security principles.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
