Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced Front-end Developer who will use his/her programming skills to bring the client side of our applications to life. Your duties will include translating our company and customer needs into a functional and appealing digital environment, ensuring great user experience.
Job Details
- Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js (v2 & v3)
- Building modular and reusable components and libraries
- Optimizing your application for performance and maximum speed
- Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
- Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and Vue.js space
- Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with Vue.js and all project dependencies
- Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices
- Design mobile and desktop-based features
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
- Work with product managers to get feedback from, and build solutions for users and customers
- Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Write functional requirement documents and guides
- Create quality mockups and prototypes
- Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
- Maintain and improve websites
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Requirements
- Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
- Highly proficient with Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
- Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including {{ Sass}}
- Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases
- Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
- Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
- Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
- Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, Vite, and Git
- Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
- Understanding of layout aesthetics
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
