We are seeking a highly skilled MIS Analyst to oversee and optimize the Management Information System (MIS) for our palm plantation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data management, business intelligence, system automation, and reporting to support decision-making in plantation activities such as yield tracking, resource planning, cost management, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
MIS DEVELOPMENT & DATA MANAGEMENT
- Design, implement, and maintain MIS solutions tailored for palm plantation operations.
- Manage data collection, processing, and storage for key plantation activities (e.g., harvesting, production, transportation, and inventory management).
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within plantation systems.
PLANTATION ANALYTICS & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI)
- Develop customized dashboards and reports for crop yields, productivity, expenses, and profitability.
- Track and analyze fertilizer usage, pest control efficiency, labor productivity, and environmental conditions to optimize plantation performance.
- Provide insights on weather patterns, soil conditions, and palm health using historical and real-time data.
SYSTEM INTEGRATION & AUTOMATION
- Integrate MIS with ERP systems, GPS tracking, drone monitoring, and IoT-based field sensors.
- Automate data reporting processes to reduce manual data entry errors.
- Enhance mobile-based applications for field workers to report plantation activities in real time.
STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION & TRAINING
- Work closely with plantation managers, agronomists, finance teams, and supply chain personnel to align MIS solutions with operational needs.
- Train field supervisors and data entry teams on best practices for using MIS tools.
- Act as the bridge between IT and business operations to ensure smooth data flow and reporting.
COMPLIANCE, RISK MANAGEMENT & CYBERSECURITY
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, sustainability standards, and company policies.
- Monitor potential data security risks and implement appropriate cybersecurity measures.
- Conduct regular system audits and backups to prevent data loss.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or Agricultural Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in MIS, preferably in agriculture, plantations, or agribusiness.
- Experience in GIS (Geographic Information Systems), remote sensing, or precision agriculture is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and other BI tools for reporting and analytics.
- Strong Excel (Advanced), Python, or R skills for data analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or plantation-specific ERP solutions).
- Knowledge of GPS tracking systems, IoT, and automation technologies in agriculture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in remote plantation environments and adapt to on-field challenges.
