About the Role
- We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert who can do more than track impact, but also translate data into meaningful insights that fuel marketing, drive business development, and support strategic partnerships.
- This is a cross-functional role that touches various aspects of our organization, from impact evaluation to growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Design, implement, and manage M&E frameworks, tools, and systems for initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to measure program outcomes, outputs, and long-term impact.
- Generate periodic impact reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Lead internal learning sessions and feedback loops to integrate findings into ongoing program improvement.
- Develop impact stories, case studies, and evidence-based dashboards.
Marketing & Communications Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to translate M&E findings into compelling content for campaigns, impact storytelling, and stakeholder updates.
- Support the creation of data-driven communication materials (e.g., infographics, social proof, reports) for digital and offline channels.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Provide data-backed inputs to concept notes, grant proposals, and pitch decks for new opportunities.
- Work with the business development team to align donor expectations with program impact metrics.
- Contribute to partnership design by mapping needs, identifying opportunities, and tailoring reporting mechanisms.
Cross-Functional Integration
- Identify trends, challenges, and success factors from M&E data that can be applied to improve other parts of the business — such as user engagement, customer satisfaction, and service design.
- Inform strategic decision-making through timely analytics and forecasting based on ongoing evaluations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, preferably with exposure to donor-funded programs (e.g., Mastercard Foundation, Gates, DFID, USAID).
- Strong experience with both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Excel, Power BI, KoboToolbox).
- Proven ability to turn data into strategic insights and real-world action.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills; experience translating impact into marketing or investor content is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across departments with a strong understanding of how M&E feeds into larger organizational goals.
- Experience working in or with early-stage startups, nonprofits, or social enterprises is a bonus.
What We Offer
- A mission-driven culture with the opportunity to drive real social and economic impact.
- Cross-functional exposure to strategy, product, and partnerships.
- A learning-oriented environment with room to grow into leadership roles.
- Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.
