- FAME Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to support the assessment and improvement of our programs. The M&E Officer will be responsible for designing M&E frameworks, tracking project progress, evaluating impact, and providing actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement M&E systems, tools, and indicators.
- Conduct baseline and endline assessments.
- Prepare reports on program progress, evaluation findings, and lessons learned.
- Analyse data and prepare reports on program performance.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on M&E procedures, tools, and data management.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with program staff, community members, and stakeholders, to ensure effective M&E processes.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Statistics, Social Sciences, or related field along with experience in data analysis, program evaluation, and reporting. Masters degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in M&E for development projects.
- Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Proficiency in M&E software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, KOBO, DHIS2).
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
